I don't know if Dog Days is canon, or if it takes place before or after Looking for Group. But Dog Days was originally published separately months ago on Patreon (now apparently also beginning release on FurAffinity), which makes sense as it's a NSFW comic, while the main Pig Pen comic is more SFW.
