I very much agree with this too. Many areas on this site are a radioactive dumpster fire.

Sure modding isn't easy and it's practically volunteering, but there's just plenty of problematic posts that get left untouched and continue stoking the flames. Can't extinguish a fire if you leave active ember lying around.

Their mentality is to contain the drama by erasing the evidence and banking the users who are responsible for it. It honestly doesn't resolve anything. Its only a quick fix. It won't stop from the situation from happening again. The users lost respect for this website. The only time they use this website its for sH1+$ for giggles. By creating drama and rage baiting other users.
In all honesty. This website is dying and filled with toxic community who lacks respect for the rules and mod team.

It doesn't help that their ban page is completely broken so you never get to see what actually banned you and learn from it. All you get is an "Internal Server Error" page for however many days and that's it. I assume most people just think the site is having its usual downtime issues and forget about what they posted, and then do it again later.
