The writing isn't bad in the syntax or grammatical sense (although there still are a lot of typos, it's nowhere near as bad).

The NSFW elements make the characters framed like terrible people, and contrarily to Echo, doesn't seem to realise it or put limits to make those flaws endearing.
Almost everyone is so goddamn forgiving of the main character's possible amoral actions, it becomes psychotic. I'd say except Sousuke, but his LL3 ending throws his rationality out the window hardcore.
And since the "plots" all across three games are character centric, well...

Yeah in short, that kind of badly written; the characters feel more like sex dolls than actual characters, some of them are even terrible on their own.

I'd argue the game is better in full SFW, cause most of the insufferable stuff is caused by Kuugo's character and what he does to the other characters, and those are NSFW related.
It also saves the other characters to be full SFW, especially Yuujirou.
Kuugo does terrible things to Yuujirou in NSFW, and after all that Stockholm Syndrome - Rape Edition, his ending in LL3 should result in a kick to the crotch rather than shrugging everything off and Spoiler.
But then with just SFW, you have three extremely linear games where nothing much happens, cause, with some exceptions in LL3, all choices across all games result into either "sex" or "no sex".

Inherently, the structure is flawed; the SFW part is the best but alone has close to no interactivity and it becomes pretty bland and boring after a while (at least after the first game), with very few sprites and barely anything in terms of facial expressions.
And adding the NSFW part evidently from a naughty furry POV does spice things up, but blatantly ruin characters just for the sake of easy sex scenes that won't be talked about ever again.
Proof of that: have sex with Arashi, then with Sousuke only 2 chapters later, and Kuugo will mention to Sousuke how he was his first time in bed (although considering Kuugo's track record, I wouldn't be surprised if that jerk was just lying to his face).
