i've only played through 0.3, but i think Snow really is MC's dad but the villain has rewritten Snow's memories. if you go into the cellar, the villain demonstrates their ability to do so on the possessed horn mug. the villain also mentions that MC is there for their entertainment, but they're also abstaining from messing with MC's mind directly. time is also said to flow differently here, so even though he was in the village a year ago, the time dilation and fake memories could explain it.

that was 11 the only things in 12 part 1 are the anvil,new step in the war,and a fight where you meet the lizard spy other then that its mostly a few things to help triggers events more reliably and quicker.
