Honestly I don't even know where the hell the story is anymore. It's been so many years of lore trying to be given only for everything to stop for sex scenes and odd attempts at character building that just devolve back into sex scenes and then lore sometimes gets sprinkled in.

I don't disagree that the writing is a little stiff and awkward at times, it's a symptom of neither me nor my cowriter being experienced writers. Where we are right now is uncharted territory for me, and I'm learning as I go.

You don't need to worry about my reader trends, though, they're quite stable according to my analytics. And putting down ToT for Space Vixen would just lead to the exact same issue with Space Vixen, where I also have to work through what I'm doing.

You are quite wrong... i love the character development and all of the characters personalities it makes it so much more fun when the flirtations and naughtiness begins.

Hard disagree. Excuse plots or even just sex scenes presented as is without dialog are just fine.

Tale of Tails is actually one of the only porn comics I follow where I actually find the story portion cool enough on its own to care about it.

Which is cool as a proof of concept, that you can kind of just write an adventure story and have a lot of gratuitous, pornographic sex in it and have something like that actually make sense, but it leaves me wondering if anyone other than Feretta will ever pull it off.

I'd say Fluff-Kevlar's comics come close but those technically all fall under excuse plots come to think of it, some of them like the Predators series are just really elaborate ones. I Disagree. The story revolves around her, and in the beginning she was dicking everyone with pussy. Only Recently with any hole. Same with her father in the flashback, He was dicking every person who worked with him. If the story is more important than the porn, Feretta shouldn't have made it a porn comic in the first place. But then no one would care about the comic at all, after all we're all here for the porn, as everyone has admitted above. Porn with some story even, but still the porn part.

Seems to be semi-consistent that birds in this world look pretty weird. That's two out of four so far that are that way.

I know the Fer style in general is to draw furries slightly more on the animalistic side than the humanoid side (which I quite like) but I feel like the avians (aside from the sexy owl we got in the earlier chapters, and the hawk in the background here) take it a step further. They're like Madagascar furries where they may as well be full feral aside from having cartoon faces and walking upright.

The left one looks really intense, you can feel the speed, but the right one looks static in comparison, as if she stopped moving.
If it is still in a movement, I would also add some of the speed effects in the right panel.
A motion effect on the arm with the gun, a turning effect on the torso of the goat (if she turned a little) and a speed effect on the back of the pandas head (or behind what is shown).

Not to dash the fan theories too much, but the road through the valley is the only east-west path that doesn't go through any major hub areas, where it's a lot easier to get caught if you're dragging wagons full of chained up, miserable looking people around with you.

Now, that's not to say Tamusa isn't an idiot for choosing to make camp in the same area that he lost a gang before, but he's also proven himself to be very overconfident and likely expected nobody would be able to organize an attack force within the few hours they were spending there. Especially not at a distance from the main threat.

Yeah, no I agree with the other guy. I was gonna say something similar. I get it's a porn comic with story, but the current story beat is about sex. So shoehorning a meaningless sex scene for horniness sake is kinda... hard. And it's especially weird since it's about a now empowered woman killing an evil strongman who kidnapped her and raped her and he's doing it with a slave group now. So if there's a sex scene involving that lady immediately after she kills the dude, it's kinda hard to say there's NO meaning and it's just for horniness sake. I guess it's really about the next few pages, like will they continue the plot line here about consent and uhhh not being a pos who takes advantage of the weak and exploits them sexually? Dunno. Based off her shit eating grin at being smashed between the busts of two women I really doubt it. At least it's obvious it's consensual, it just rubs me the wrong way as far as coherent story goes.

I think that's just a reflection of the furry fandom itself.

Maybe not the silent majority, but out of everyone I interact with socially it seems like among furries being anything other than bi is the exception and not the rule. And so of course we get used to being bi ourselves and knowing so many other bi people that we end up writing stories where sexuality basically just doesn't even come up, because it becomes a barrier that's weirdly easy to forget about.

Also it's kind of just a plot requirement for everyone to be okay with any genital configuration when the main character is intersex. Otherwise how is she supposed to fuck everyone?

Now to be fair, this comic did have a teensy sexuality related conflict way back. Baren (the black jackal guy who only got a few pages of "screen time") seemed a little hesitant to let his friends know that he likes dick, so there must be some communities or cliques in this world that are not fond of homosexuals even if overall it's pretty normalized.

Oh and Feretta the fact that you had to mention on Twitter that they were stepping into the spoopy rape-to-death pool is an example of the few times where we've questioned your pacing for storytelling either on U18 or elsewhere.
