I hate this comics... beside the cover all the characters look totally out of character the colors are all fuck up -yea i get it they try to make them white like zebras or some shit but just look at RD or Twilight i barely was able to recognize them and only coz of the cutie marks... And as the panels progres i feel like the quality of the whole things drops down...

This reads and feels like Jay Naylor's Red Riding hood series. Except instead of wolves and humans, we have Zebras and ponies.

They are acting out of character because they are being mind controlled and they are not trying to make them white, just add stripes. The "white" you are seeing is an artistic choice in lighting. I was able to recognize all the characters and the panels are not in chronological order one after another. There is no "Scene to Scene" story in this comic.
