This is definitely Etoya's work. Couldn't find it on his patreon though. Must be remnants of a scrapped project. I've seen these same two pages before but nothing further than that. If you wanna dig through all of his stuff, I'm sure some sites might have things like this archived and might have additional pages for this that I'm unaware of. gl

So this artist just put his unfinished comic inside a pack to get some easy money and get the same share from the other artist who put more effort in making stuff for such pack?

Also since when diamond dogs have horns anyway and what with the dog's nose and the hooves in the second panel? It doesn't make sense.
I bet Etoya recolored that equine dog thing as rarity and slapped a horn in it

its more like every collab pack from pony artists these days is shameless bullshit for money. Spend months planning and then like 2 days making two pictures that are subpar. Its maximum profit for minimal effort from everybody. When everyone only has to make like 2 pics for a cut of the share, that gives everybody more time to do their own thing while the leader advertises the pack for a few weeks.

Eyyyy, pack manager here. For the record, I can tell ya that's not what happened, I watched Etya's progress on this from the start, see-

Our troupe has a 2 img minimum for each pack we run, and we pay by image. The more work you do, the more of the profit you reap, that's how we keep it fair and give incentive to participating artists, do as much as you like (with a pay ceiling of course, so peeps can't do like a million images while some can only do a few).

Etya wanted to do some species-play with his and did. That's all :B! Originally he planned 4 pages, but didn't finish the last two in time, so the sketches for them were included in the pack extras.

Also, I'm not sure what you consider "minimal effort", but at least in my case as an artist, I put alot of thought and passion into my pieces for these packs myself, and try my best to have fun with 'em and make some pieces that leave an impression. I can guarantee you it's not just a paycheck to me, I love hearing people's feedback, whether they enjoyed it or not. I know I'm not the best artist, but dammit if my work doesn't have my heart in it <3!

I can't speak for -everyone- in my troupe, but I know that several others of my team feel and work the same way.

Do tell though, I'm curious, can you give me an example of an art pack you did really enjoy and think had alot of effort put in? I'd love to see what we can learn from it :0!

I know you man - or at least your art. And i admit that in most pack where i saw your art pieces they were the better ones.

But for your question - an artpack with lots of effort behind it - honestly in recent year i can't remember one that was good enough to stick in my head. But going from the other angle - there is lots of recent packs that were shit(and they were not scat themed).

Great example "No Consent Required" god what a trainwreck was it. Almost all the art inside it was so low quality that i think some of those artist had to actually tried hard to fuck up their own style. More than half of the images in it looked identical - some "cunt" "slut" etc. words written with markers on the girls dripping mascara and dumb expressions.

Anyway.. i was going to go on a rant about other packs but it would be pointless.


You wanna know what's wrong with most "art packs"?
1 - bined art - artist picks old pieces of art that they did long ago but didynt publicate and stick it in the packs as something new but you can smell the dust and mold on it when compared to any recent drawing by the same artist.
2 - low quality and quantity of art in those packs. If you gonna have only 10 pieces of art from 5 artists in a pack make sure thats its GREAT quality art not a messy colored sketch or flat colored "comics" page with 3 panels. If you have low quality of art make up for it with quantity - small 2 page comics or sequences of scenes alweys help make it feel like there is at least one drawing that the buyer will like even if its a crappy colored sketch!
3 - not keeping up with the theme - if i buy a pack that is named " No Consent Required" im buying it for the rape not just for bloody slutyfication and some light bandage! Its like buying a fleshlight and getting a dildo - its still a sex toy but its not what im into! If you decide to do a themed pack keep all the image IN THE THEME! Artists keeps trying to put random crap they got lying around by editing it slightly.
5 - make sure that each artist in the pack makes an drawing that look difrent from others. I see it a lot that in an art pack ther are like 3 out of 5 drawings that are basically the same - same poses, same actions just difrent characters.
6- be bold - vore themed pack? go thro each vore type you can think off cooking vore, soft vore, hard vore, oral, anal, micro macro. If you make a vore art pack and everyone draw soft oral vore with one micro vore it will be boring. You are making porn for a lot of people so make sure there is something for everyone! use difrent "levels" of the thame - from soft lovely vore between two lovers to a timberwolf with a bloodied plot of Applejack sticking out of it mouth! Especially this applies to more grimdark themes - i think i was never happy with any of them as the artist alweys stayed in the "safe: zone no meter how hardcore the pack was described.
7- organization - make sure that you got good communication between artist so that the pack dont ends up with 9 out of 10 drawings being of Rarity and one of AJ - make sure that lots of difrent characters and setups is used and that the ideas dont repeat themself.

Sorry if my comment is chaotic but its 5 am im tired and i won't even go thru what i written to check it. But i think i correctly described some of my points.
